Anesthesia is considered as a sub discipline of medical science and is used in various surgical procedures. When human body receives anesthesia the entire body or a portion of the body is put to sleep deeply enough that you feel no pain. There are many drugs and medicines are available to produce this type of sleep or anesthesia. Some to obtain muscle relaxation, some to eliminate pain and others to regulate blood pressure, heart action and body temperature.
